Garden and views

Shwari is situated in lush tropical gardens, with a mix of indigenous and exotic flora. Birds are plentiful, and monkeys regularly pass through the grounds.

The rear of the villa faces west towards Mida Creek, offering great sunset views of the Baobab trees,indigenous coastal scrub forest and coconut palms.

The east facing front of the villa overlooks a manicured lawn, swimming pool, coast scrub, the white sands of Watamu Beach, with the ever changing blues of the lagoon, to the coral reefs, and out across to Whale Island and the vast Indian Ocean stretching to the horizon. Seabirds, dhows, sports fishing boats, and if you are lucky, dolphins and whales can all be viewed from Shwari.
